Note : In order to further develop the course, South Seas Film and Television School reserves the right to change or amend the schedule without prior notification.




School Hours

Students are required to attend South Seas Animation School from Monday to Friday (5 days per week) from 9:00am to 5:00pm as a minimum requirement, and up to 45 hours per week if required.  Extra workshops and lectures may also be held in the evenings and/or on Saturdays.

Equipment and facilities are available outside school hours for approved projects and operators.

2009 Applicant Interviews will take place from July to December 2008 by appointment.
  • Term One     Tuesday 27 January to Friday 1 May (14 weeks)
  • Term Two     Monday 18 May to Friday 21 August (14 weeks)
  • Term Three   Monday 31 August to Friday 4 December (14 weeks) 
Graduation date to be confirmed


2010 Animation Calendar

Tuition Fees due Wednesday 20th January
  • Term One      Wednesday 27th January to Friday 30th April (14 weeks)
  • Term Two      Monday 17th May to Friday 20th August (14 weeks)
  • Term Three    Monday 30th August to Friday 3rd December (14 weeks)

ANDE SCHURR | 2005
Ande was first inspired to learn the craft of sound recording by South Seas tutor Mike Westgate. "During my time at South Seas, Mike would deliver guest lectures on sound along with his experiences in the film industry. I was thrilled to find someone truly willing to share their knowledge and help others succeed," says Ande.
