Charter
South Seas Film & Television School has prepared a charter in accordance with the Tertiary Education Commission’s requirement that all Tertiary Education Organisations must prepare a charter after identifying and consulting with their stakeholders.

Stakeholders are any person or organisation who has an interest in or impact on our operations as a Training Provider and our students' learning as well as subsequent employment.

The South Seas charter is the result of meetings and planning work with staff, industry contacts and consultants. Also included is material derived from the industry and graduate surveys we undertake each year. As part of preparing our charter we have compiled a comprehensive list of stakeholders who have an interest in, or impact on, our operations.

It is important for us to get feedback on the content of our charter. Any feedback is welcomed and will be included when our charter is reviewed each year.

JABEZ OLSSEN | 1998
After South Seas the first job Jabez got was at leading New Zealand post production company Silver Screen where he found all the high-end editing equipment rather daunting. In the years since graduating as an editor he has gone on to achieve a lot, including working with Peter Jackson on his epic 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy and the 'King Kong' movie.
