Digital Photography Calendar
South Seas delivers two Diploma in Digital Photography Courses (DPC) each year. One course starts at the end of January each year and the other one at the start of August each year. The next DPC course is starting on the 2nd of August 2010 and the first DPC course for 2011 starts on the 24th of January 2011. For the 2010 August DPC course there are still 4 International course positions available. (See South Seas info on course fees and schedules for full details.)

School Hours

During Term One students will be expected to attend from Monday to Friday or Saturday (5 or 6 days per week), during the hours 8:30am to 5:00pm as a minimum requirement. 

Equipment and facilities are available outside of school hours for approved projects and operators.


2011 - 2012 Digital Photography Calendar

  • Term One:  Monday 1 August to Friday 7 October 2011 (10 weeks)
  • Term Two:  Monday 17 October to Friday 16 December 2011 (9 weeks)
  • Term Two/Three Photography Exercise (3 weeks - completed in break between terms)
  • Term Three:  Monday 23 January to Friday 30 March 2012 (10 weeks)
  • Term Four: Tuesday 10 April to Friday 22 June 2012 (11 weeks)
 Total Duration:  43 weeks

HARLEM BAKER | 2007
After graduating with a Diploma in Animation Production from South Seas, Harlem found employment as an animator on several consecutive series of a chidren's televsion programme.  The popular animated series was screened on Maori Television. He is now working for Auckland-based production company KKNK.
