This short course will get you started creating Flash animation suitable for everything from TV to websites. They are held on four consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6 - 9pm.
Flash can be used to create fun and appealing animations for use in websites, presentations, games and television.

Unit 6 Computer Lab

Level: Basic compuer literacy is necessary when doing this course.
Previous Experience needed: Basic computer use is important when doing this course. It would also be an advantage (but not necessary) if you have had some previous experience with Adobe Photoshop.
During this course you will be introduced to the software, its interface, tools, functions and capabilities. This course focuses on making animation using Flash.
Tutor: Greg Chapman joined the animation industry in 1997. His extensive project history as an animator includes television shows for Disney, Warner Bros. and Nelvarna, as well as feature film projects, music videos, websites and television commercials.

SCOTT CLOTWORTHY | 1994 After establishing an excellent reputation as a New Zealand-based news cameraman who covered international stories, Scott headed off overseas. Initially based in London, he worked worldwide as a freelance camera operator. These days Scott is based in Hong Kong where he works for CNN News and shoots stories throughout Asia, including Afghanistan. “The course I took at South Seas was certainly the best way for me to get a foot in door and provided me with a great platform on which to establish a successful international career as news cameraman,” he says. |
