KEREAMA WRIGHT | 2008
Kereama always wanted to be a presenter and is now a Trainee News Reporter at Māori Television. “Growing up I watched a lot of shows with dynamic humorous presenters. I wanted to be on camera and just as good as them.” Kereama is a talented Kapa Haka (Māori performing arts) performer. When he started the 2008 Film and Television Production course, he enjoyed the experience. “I quickly felt at home as there were lots of other Māori students and many were keen Kapa Haka performers.” “My ultimate goal is make good programs that will help put all aspects of Māori culture and life on the map. It’s great to be working towards this goal and South Seas has helped make it all possible.”
