Min Kim's hard work and passion for acting pays off...

2009 On-Screen Acting Graduate, Min Kim, originally from Korea, has been called back and on demand after his appearances on various television shows made in New Zealand. American shows such as Power Rangers, and New Zealand's Shortland Street; along with many others.

Featuring in a children's show called "The Secret of Dont Ting Lake," by South Seas OSA Tutor Ben Crowder.

In Shortland Street,  Min Kim, plays the character of Winston. It is the first time an Asian appeared in NZ's most favorite drama Shortland Street. "Min was the first actor we saw on the audition day and we were blown away by his portrayal of the admiration the character felt towards Brooke," says casting director Andrea Kelland . "When the producers watched his audition back we knew he was the right choice for the role." As Min is Korean the Character of Winston became Winston Youn who is also Korean in the show. His performance was brilliant that all the audiences were one minuite suspicious of his character but loved him the next. By liasing between Min and the story writers for character development it was a great chance to introduce the Korean culture to New Zealand effortlessly.
Min has also worked with Elena Stejko at the Actors Studio. He has gained critical acclaim for the innovative production of "I Love" - The Romeo and Juliet Story - working with Dawn Adams (OSA 2009)

He is now also teaching at the Actors Studio.

Elena Stejko's The Actor's Studio is now established in the On-Screen Acting Drama Studio at South Seas.

The 2011 Class with be performing in the new Tom Sainsbury play "Humans" which will be the end of the year production at the OSA Drama Studio mid December.
